somatic coaching + somatic bodywork
What are you healing towards?
If you want to live your most meaningful life, while shaping the world towards more justice, liberation, and joy, then you’ve come to the right place. Welcome.
Imagine…
✦ feeling connected to yourself + others
✦ accessing more choice under pressure
✦ healing trauma through a body-based approach
✦ communicating effectively & navigating conflict skillfully
✦ practicing a range of boundaries in relationships
What becomes possible from that place?
Working Together
A meaningful and abundant life of your choosing IS your birthright.
I support social change makers, movement leaders, and self-identified BIPOC (Black, Indigenous & People of Color) who are ready to learn embodied skills to support their healing and the healing of their communities. By working through the body we are able to both heal from trauma and generate new ways of being. Somatics offers us practical tools so that we can move through the world with more awareness, choice, and a fuller experience of our dignity and sense of belonging. I enter into coaching relationships with the understanding that my clients are whole, creative, and incredibly resourceful. There’s no fixing here. Working with me means you have a dedicated partner in service of your aliveness and dreams. Supporting your healing is what excites my soul and inspires my spirit.
“I was wary of the idea of coaching, especially body-centric coaching. As a self-identified fat person and survivor, I had learned to “avoid” my body. As a skeptic, Namiko helped me feel comfortable moving at my pace. Somatics gave me back access to my body that negative social conditioning and abuse had taken away.”
